Local Network for the Sustainable Employment in the Achaia Region

The main aim of the project, co-funded in the framework of the TOPSA programme is to support unemployed people living in the area of Patra belonging, mainly, in the following target groups: young people – young people entering recently the job market, long-term unemployed, women.

The specific objective of the project is to provide training and counselling to 100 unemployed people in order to acquire a competitive advantage in order to be inserted in the labour market through the development of new jobs in enterprises, through the development of their own enterprise or through the development of social enterprises.

The main topics in which the training is focuses are the following:

– Organisation and Management of Agrotourism Enterprises

– Organic Farming

– Horticultural corps in the greekhouse and in the field

– Design, installation and maintenance of photoboltaic systems

The project is also providing to the beneficiaries extra training (through the use of e-learning) which include:

– Management and marketing

– Foreign Professional Terminology through the TELLMEMORE e-learning platform in one of the following languages: English, Italian, Spanish, French, German

The project aims to support sustainable entrepreneurship also through the provision of consulting activities including needs identification, specialized services of consulting (evaluation – research and information for the beginning and development of enterprises) and the development of a business plan for each beneficiary that would like to establish its own enterprise.
