The SEEVAL project is an Erasmus+ project which aims to promote Social and Emotional Education (SEE) in schools. The project, approved in the framework of KA3 Social Inclusion Call for Proposals, prepares an educators’ training course and protocols of action for whole school approach in implementation of SEE. Educational practices for social and emotional learning are collected and shared for further use as freely accessible Open educational resource to support educators with pedagogical and didactical tools for addressing development of students’ competences for self-management, self-awareness, social awareness, responsible decision making, relationships and values.
The project partners build on good practices from European countries, which are adapted with the support of experts from the Centre for Resilience & Socio-Emotional Health (CRES) at the University of Malta. At the start of the SEEVAL project partners have engaged also in inquiries of the needs of the educators and learners, in order to select, adapt, pilot and shape resources suitable for building social and emotional skills of the students in a way that adequately matches the national polices and practices in this field.
The project is implemented by a consortium coordinated by Trakia University from Bulgaria. Action Synergy is representing Greece and the consortium includes also Center for Creative Training Association (CCTA) from Bulgaria, Ca’ Foscari University from Venice, Italy, the University of Malta, Centre for Resilience and Socio-Emotional Health from Malta, the World University Service Austria, and the Institute of Educational Sciences from Romania.
