The second meeting of the ECOLIVE project has been organized in the offices of Action Synergy in Athens in the 6th and 7th of October 2016. The project which is implemented in Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Italy has the aim to train farmers on the production of organic olive oil.
Embarking on the plane to Ghana, all we could assume for the long-expected trip was a week packed in images of women balancing large baskets of goods on the top of their head, cute babies with African braids tied on their shoulders with colorful fabric strips, vendors on a beautiful chaos that proves Gaudi an amateur when it comes to architecture and world-class marketers just schoolboys with much to learn from “informal trade methods”. And all those between speeches, workshops, exciting sessions and a bunch of photos through our pinkish glasses.
Tourism seminar in Ghana with the participation of young people from Greece, Italy, Romania and Capo Verde. This title was so attractive that I couldn’t resist – and I didn’t want either! – to the chance of participating. When I received the amazing news that I got approved to join this project, it was really the beginning of the amazing experience that I will never forget.
Following the results of the last evaluation period, Action Synergy is glad to announce that it will have the chance to participate in 10 new projects as a partner or as coordinator. The projects are related with different fields of education and training and will give the opportunity to Action Synergy to work with a variety of target groups and organisations coming all over Europe and beyond.
For the 6th consecutive year, Action Synergy in cooperation with the Hellenic Culture Centre is organizing e-learning Greek language courses through the GLOSSA e-learning platform. The course has been awarded as a best practice by the European Commission and previous learners have expressed their great degree of satisfaction from the course.
