Between 14 and 18 of January, in the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 project Safer Places Hopeful Refugees there was organised in Greece, a 5-day training seminar which focused on best practices in relation with the integration of refugees in Greece. During this training, 24 participants from Greece, Italy, Turkey, Germany, Sweden and Slovenia had the chance to visit organisations that are working with refugees in Greece and discuss methods and approaches.
In the framework of the great work that is realised for the S-FEST and CULTYprojects, Action Synergy in the beginning of January 2018, has delivered a lecture to the students of the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus, faculty of “Management of Tourism Enterprises”.
I had the opportunity to take part in this beautiful project, S-FEST, in Baía das Gatas, a small village in Cape Verde, Africa. It was so motivating and hopeful to be around all the people that were gathered there to help this small community.
During November we traveled in São Vicente, Cape Verde to take part at the second festival within the framework of S-FEST. This project is aiming to promote the cooperation between Europe, Africa and Latin America in the field of youth and explore the potential of youth work in order to increase social entrepreneurship and employability of the young people in the field of community based tourism. It includes partners from Cape Verde, Brazil, Italy and Greece.
New year, new project! Action Synergy is happy to announce the start of the project SEDIN – Creative Methods for Successful Inclusion in Multicultural Schools which coordinates and which aims to promote the use of the Montessori and Creative Learning methods in order to promote social inclusion in multicultural schools.
