EIRENE meeting in Poland

This week we were in Janków Przygodzki in Poland for the 4th transnational meeting of EIRENE. This project aims to improve the ability of the school education system to react to the bullying phenomenon and to involve the main actors that rotate around the school system in tackling this negative behaviour at an educational level.

Policy Seminar for the Young Digital Leaders Project

Action Synergy in cooperation with ISD and Google Athens has organised in the offices of Google Athens, a policy seminar focusing on the results of the implementation of the Young Digital Leaders project in Greece and the prospects for the introduction of digital citizenship in the school curricula.

Understanding my Journey meeting in Lisbon

Understanding my Journey meeting took place in October of 2019 in Lisbon, Porugal. UMJ is a project that aims to develop tools to support young people and youth workers in the process of conscious and structured soft skills development.

AESOP Training Seminar in Vietnam

Hanoi in Vietnam was the host city of the second international training activity which was organised in the framework of the AESOP project from the 16th until the 19th September 2019. Actors, youth workers, young people, storytellers and other people have attended in Hanoi a five day training program which has combined knowledge about the culture and traditions of Vietnam, exchange of experiences related with storytelling techniques and performances based on the oral tradition of each participating country.

Become a specialist in Cultural Tourism- Registrations Open

Cultural Tourism is a growing industry and many employment opportunities are being opened all over the world. Therefore, there is a growing demand for specialists in the field while in the same time, specialized qualifications on cultural tourism are rare.

The CULTVET project is offering an enormous opportunity for people interested to work in the field of cultural tourism. It is providing a professional qualification jointly developed by 4 VET organisations from 4 Mediterranean European countries: Nuevas Profesiones from Spain, Istituto d’Istruzione Superiore “Luigi Einaudi” from Italy, Eurosuccess from Cyprus and the Vocational Training Centre of Lesvos Regional Unit in Greece (KEKAPEL). The project is offering also the opportunity for an internationally recognized accreditation of the skills acquired by ACTA – Aristotle Certification – Training and Assessment.

This joint qualification includes 200 hours of classroom based lessons as well as 300 hours of guaranteed practical training in an enterprise or organization active in the field of cultural tourism. 8 of the students who will participate in the course [2 for each training country] will have also the opportunity to make their practical training abroad.
