My participation in the first meeting of the project CulTY in Castellammare di Stabia is an experience that I treasure dearly.
Being a tourism manager, I had the opportunity to broaden my perceptions and knowledge on alternative cultural tourism. On one had my participation in the project was the trigger to study in greater depth the alternative cultural tourism sector of my region (Meteora) and come in touch with the local professionals who are involved in it. On the other hand, attending the presentation of the other speakers gave me a wider scope on the subject. How alternative cultural tourism is perceived in other countries and what is its impact in those other communities.
The first meeting and seminar of the CulTY project (Cultural Tourism for Youth) held at the Vesuvian Institute, Castellammare di Stabia, Italy in June 2016. People from India, Greece, Italy and Vietnam participated on behalf of their respective organizations – OSVSWA, Action Synergy, Pegaso and CSDS – to discuss various tourism practices followed in their respective countries and benefit each other with the same. Various in-bound as well as outbound activities kept the spirit going for the entire span of the event i.e. 5 days.
Action Synergy is organising, in cooperation with the partners of the METIKOS 2 project a series of webinars addressed to language teachers related with methods for informal language learning for immigrants, 50+ and low skilled citizens.
The methodology related with the informal language learning for low-skilled and migrants developed in the framework of the METIKOS 2 project has been published and is available:
Action Synergy is very happy to announce its participation in a project which was recently approved in the framework of the Erasmus+ KA3 programme related with policy innovation.
