CSR2VET is an Erasmus+ project which aims to encourage education establishments to integrate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), sustainable development and responsible citizenship into relevant education curricula.
CSR values ensure that students, teachers, companies, organizations and the community will all benefit. Integrating the CSR perspective into Vocational Education and Training (VET) is essential in order to enhance knowledge about the issue among future generations of employees. In this perspective, it is important for educational institutions to collaborate with the private sector when drawing up their CSR programs. This will help to ensure that the programs meet the private sector’s actual needs and allows for individual companies’ experience to be included in the teaching.
The main objectives of the project are the following:
- to promote CSR as a methodology for improving the VET sector
- to increase engagement and participation of people from vulnerable groups in VET
- to increase employability opportunities and promote new roles in companies through CSR
- to increase the awareness of educational situations, especially vocational education, on social responsibility.
CSR2VET is a project implemented from 2022- 2024 in the framework of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships for VET programme and is managed by the Swedish National Agency. It is coordinated by Mobilising Expertise from Sweden and together with Action Synergy they participate as partners Bluebook from Italy, EPRALIMA vocational school from Portugal and FAAL from Turkey.
