In the framework of the PLAY-IN project, Action Synergy has organised in Myrtillo Cafe‘ a training event for youth workers where we have presented games and other non formal education techniques that can be used with young people in order to promote social inclusion, mutual respect and fight against xenophobia.
In the framework of the event, 22 youth workers working mainly in NGOs and shelters for refugees and immigrants were trained on how to use games that promote interculturality and provide an opportunity to approach and discuss issues that otherwise could be difficult. Different games were introduced by the facilitators to the youth workers who are going to use them in the activities they are doing for the young people they are working with.
