The first meeting of the project INTEMIS took place in Piazza Armerina, Sicily (Italy) on the 3rd and 4th of November 2016. Partners from Action (Greece), IIS (Italy), Essenia (Italy), Inercia Digital (Spain), Keilir (Iceland), UPT (Portugal) and UC SYD (Denmark) were present.
The aim of INTEMIS is to train VET teachers to use the most innovative teaching strategies to improve education and vocational training through flipped learning. Teachers involved in the project held in turn by training with colleagues, promoting and disseminating these techniques within their institutions and other schools and VET centers.
The first day the project was presented to Italian teachers and students with a dissemination event. The second day the partners worked together on setting the future timetable, finalizing each partner’s role in the project and other management topics.
