The project Finally – Financial Literacy of Roma – in which Action Synergy has participated as a partner, has successfully completed its activities. In Greece, in cooperation with the Municipality of Megara, Action Synergy has organized training for 20 trainers and 15 Roma.
The training was based on 4 different modules which examined different aspects of the financial literacy topic.
These aspects were:
– Household budgeting – Plan ahead and spend wisely
– Saving for the future
– Sensible borrowing
– Increasing your income
Exercises and assignments were used in order to complement the training in each module while for the training of Roma invited guests have discussed with the participants topics related with economic shopping, opening of a business, working with banks etc.
The Finally project is co-financed by the Lifelong Learning, Grundtvig programme and coordinated by RIC Novo Mesto from Slovenia.
