Actinon Synergy is the coordinator of the project. ON THE MOVE aims to promote blended mobility by combining physical and virtual experiences, while strengthening the capacity of VET providers, intermediary organizations, and companies to support these initiatives.
The project’s objectives are:
1. Develop practical frameworks to enhance the transparency, quality, and integration of blended apprenticeship mobility across Europe, including support tools for companies, apprentice integration, and the creation of Mobility Coordination Offices.
2. Strengthen the capacity of VET providers, intermediary organizations, and companies by delivering training to 415 stakeholders, organizing blended mobility for at least 20 apprentices, hosting networking events, and establishing 6 new Mobility Coordination Offices.
3. Inform and influence policy at local, national, and European levels by involving policymakers, presenting results at key events, sharing policy recommendations, and organizing online conferences to promote sustainable adoption of blended mobility practices.
Why Blended Mobility Schemes?
Blended mobility schemes combine virtual and short-term physical training to reduce common mobility barriers. They simplify legal and administrative processes by minimizing visa needs and allowing time for qualification recognition. Online language support prepares apprentices in advance, while reduced travel and accommodation needs lower financial strain. Cultural orientation and virtual networking ease social integration, and digital components lighten the load on smaller institutions. Consistent quality is maintained through online monitoring, and standardized curricula help align diverse training systems.
