Project Objective
The EUnited project aims to enhance the social inclusion and integration of young migrants in European host countries while improving their digital skills and competences. It also seeks to promote intercultural dialogue, tolerance, and mutual understanding, and to highlight the rich cultural narratives of young North Africans. At the same time, the project strives to raise awareness among policymakers and the general public about the realities faced by young North African migrants, using their visual narratives as a tool for effective advocacy.
To achieve these goals, EUnited partners will carry out a number of activities. They will develop four training modules on PhotoVoice and Digital Storytelling, which will be delivered to groups of ten young North African migrants in each partner country. A transnational workshop will be hosted in Germany, giving participants the opportunity to plan their PhotoVoice projects and share their narratives with peers. In addition, Showcase Events and Roundtables with policymakers will be organized in each partner country to ensure that the migrants’ stories reach a wider audience and influence decision-making.
As a result of these efforts, the project will produce a comprehensive PhotoVoice and Digital Storytelling Training program, including both online and face-to-face content. It will also generate participatory video and photography projects developed by young migrants themselves, which will be presented through an online showcase and at local events. Finally, EUnited will produce policy briefs designed to engage and inform policymakers, ensuring that the voices and experiences of young North African migrants contribute directly to shaping policy and public discourse.
