Action Synergy, in partnership with the Network for the Rights of Children, has participated in the first general training for professionals working with refugees which was organized in the framework of the project CISOTRA in Naples/ Italy between the 19th and the 21st of November 2018. The aim of this general training was to allow participants from 5 different countries (Greece, Italy, Turkey, Slovenia and Germany) to share their expertise and working methods in the following topics:
  • Phenomenon, characteristics and complexity of UAM and young adults migrants paths
  • Procedures, identification and age assessment
  • Education, Training and Work
  • Absence of perspectives that increase the vulnerability for young migrants
  • Intercultural dialogue and multicultural society
  • Ethics, key professionals and friendly techniques for interviewing children and young migrants
The training was organized by the Pegaso Telematic University and the Social Cooperative Dedalus
In the framework of the training we had also the chance to visit the Intercultural Centre Nanà and see the work that is being done in the city of Naples with minor refugees.
