First Meeting of New project focusing on Childrens’ Rights

In this week we have inaugurated the start of a new project focusing on the promotion of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child through the use of theatre. The new project “Rights4Kids” is a project co-financed by the EU Creative Europe programme that aims to create theatrical performances in 4 countries each one focusing on at least 2 articles of the convention. The kick-off meeting of the project was organized in Verona, Italy the 27^th and 28^th of November by the coordinator Fondazione Aida.

During the kick-off meeting the partners had the chance to meet each other for the first time and discuss the structure of the project and the scheduling of the project events for the next period.

The project is coordinated by Fondazione Aida and together with Action Synergy, they participate Aeroploio theatre from Greece, the Network for Children’s Rights in Greece, ATTI Association from Italy, Performalita from Czech Republic and DAH Theatre from Serbia.
